The Andhra Pradesh Intermediate exams for the first year begin today (March 1) from 9 am to 12 pm. The second year exam will commence on March 3 at the same time. Students are expected to be in the hall on time and any late arrival even if by a minute is not permitted. Therefore, students must reach the venue on time and ensure no delay. While the first-year students finish their exams on March 19, the following day (March 20) will be the last date for Andhra Pradesh Intermediate exams.

A total of 5,00,963 general students and 44,581 vocational students are appearing for the first-year examinations. Meanwhile, 4,71,021 general students will appear for the second-year exams.

To ensure the safe and smooth conduct of examinations, each exam centre is installed with CCTVs to record the proceedings. Furthermore, flying squads and sitting squads will carry out surprise inspections to avoid malpractice. Special district and state control rooms are established to address problems arising during exams.

To make the exams go smoothly, arrangements have been made for medical personnel and emergency services at every centre. Drinking water facilities have also been arranged, and alternative arrangements have been made in places where this facility is not present. Electronic devices, such as cell phones, will not be permitted within the examination centres. Also, the usage of electronic devices is prohibited in the exam hall.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu requested students to stay focused and believe in themselves. He posted his wishes on X this morning.

Minister Nara Lokesh also extended his wishes to the intermediate students and urged them not to stress but to prepare with confidence. He advised them to stay hydrated and take care of their health.

Telangana Intermediate examinations are scheduled from March 5 to 25.
