Andhra Pradesh Soldier Martyred: In a sad LoC accident in Jammu and Kashmir, Murali Nayak, a soldier belonging to Sri Sathya Sai district, Andhra Pradesh, lost his life due to heavy shelling by the Pakistan Army. Nayak belonged to Kallithanda village under Gaddamthanda panchayat. He was stationed on the front during the attack. His mortal remains are expected to reach his hometown on Saturday.
Despite reports confirming Nayak’s martyrdom, no one knows whether he was shot on Wednesday or Thursday during the shelling. The bachelor youth soldier had dedicated his life to national security.
Top Leaders Offer Condolences to the Martyred Hero
Nayak’s sacrifice has left a deep impression on the state, compelling Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to express condolences. In an emotional tweet on X (formerly Twitter), he posted: “It is saddening to hear of the passing of a soldier, Murali Nayak, from Gorantla Mandal, Penukonda Assembly Constituency, Sri Sathya Sai District in the nation’s defence. Tributes to the martyr Murali Nayak who gave up his life for the country. I express my deepest condolences to his family.”
Nayak’s martyrdom is the very first casualty of Andhra Pradesh in Operation Sindoor, India’s military mission against the Pahalgam terror attack killing 26 persons. The mission aims to exterminate terrorist action in Pakistan and PoK.
