Vande Bharat Train to Tirupati: In a major boost to rail connectivity in the Telugu states, Indian Railways has approved a new Vande Bharat Express that will operate between Vijayawada and Bengaluru, passing through the pilgrim city of Tirupati. This new high-speed service is expected to significantly reduce travel time and offer a faster, more comfortable journey for passengers.
Fast-Track Travel in Just 9 Hours:
The newly sanctioned train will cover the Vijayawada–Bengaluru route in just 9 hours, reaching Tirupati in 4.5 hours. Compared to the existing trains on this corridor, the Vande Bharat Express will cut travel time by nearly three hours. It will particularly benefit professionals commuting between Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, and devotees traveling to Tirupati.
8-Coach Configuration:
Railway officials confirmed that the train will run with eight coaches, including seven AC Chair Cars and one Executive Chair Car. The Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week, with services paused on Tuesdays for maintenance.

This new Vande Bharat Express will mark a significant step in enhancing regional connectivity, offering faster, safer, and more comfortable travel between Vijayawada, Tirupati, and Bengaluru.
