AP Government Jobs 2025: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is preparing to conduct pending recruitment exams. The final schedule for Group 1 Mains exams is confirmed. SC reservation categorization is also resolved. These developments have cleared the way for faster government job recruitment in Andhra Pradesh.

AP Government Jobs 2025:
The government plans to release new job notifications soon. The delay in notification releases was due to the pending SC categorization process. APPSC had planned to release notifications in January. That was postponed because the roster points for SC categories were not finalized.

Now, APPSC is ready with 18 pending notifications. These include a total of 866 posts in various departments. Most of the posts, around 814, belong to the Forest Department. Recruitment here includes 100 Section Officer posts, with 30 being carry forward posts. There are also 691 Beat Officer and Assistant Officer posts including 141 carry-forward vacancies.

Other departments also have vacancies. Agriculture Department has 10 Agriculture Officer posts. Endowments Department has 7 Executive Officer posts. District Sainik Welfare Office has 7 vacancies. Intermediate Education Department has 2 Librarian posts. Horticulture Department has 2 Horticulture Officer posts. Fisheries Department has 2 Assistant Inspector posts. Groundwater Department has 2 Technical Assistant posts.

Additional vacancies include 13 Draftsman Grade-2 Technical Assistant posts. There are also 2 Junior Accounts Officer Category-2 posts, 11 Senior Accountant posts in the Municipal Department, 1 Typist post and 1 Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector post. Some of these are carry forward vacancies.

Now that roster points based on SC categorization are finalized, APPSC is set to release notifications for these jobs. The aim is to fill all vacancies department-wise without further delay.

The Group 1 Mains examination schedule is finalized. Candidates who qualified in prelims should focus on syllabus revisions, mock tests and practice writing answers as the mains is a written exam. The detailed schedule, exam centers and guidelines are expected on the APPSC website soon.
