AP PGCET 2025: How to Apply, Download Syllabus PDF & Key Dates

AP PGCET 2025: The application window for AP PGCET 2025 is now open. Eligible candidates can submit their forms online. There will be no late fee of paid before May 5, 2025. Late applications are also accepted with an additional fee until May 25, 2025.


AP PGCET 2025:
The application must be submitted through the official APSCHE portal. Candidates should upload necessary documents like a photo, signature and qualifying exam certificate.

About the AP PGCET Exam

AP PGCET is conducted for admission into PG courses in state universities and affiliated colleges across Andhra Pradesh. These include MA, MCom, MSc, MEd and other programs.This exam will be organised by Sri Venkateswara University,Tirupati.

Key Dates to Remember


– Last date to apply (without late fee): May 5, 2025
– Last date to apply (with late fee): May 25, 2025
– Hall tickets release: May 30, 2025
– Exam dates: June 9 to June 13, 2025

Syllabus Details for Preparation

Authorities have uploaded the subject wise syllabus on the official website. A total of 31 subjects are listed across three major streams and they are Arts, Science and Commerce.

1. Go to the APSCHE website
2. Click on “AP PGCET 2025”
3. Select “Syllabus”
4. Choose your subject and download the PDF

This helps candidates focus on the right topics.

Exam Pattern and Structure

The test carries 100 marks. It includes multiple choice questions . The duration is 90 minutes. There is no negative marking.

The exam is divided into three categories:
– Category 1: Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences
– Cat 2: Commerce and Education
– Cat 3: Science subjects

Fee Structure for Application

The application fee varies based on category:

– General category: ₹850
– BC candidates: ₹750
– SC/ST/PH candidates: ₹650

Payment is accepted only through online mode.
