APPSC Group 2 Mains Results: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) released the Group 2 Mains results. The commission selected candidates in a 1:2 ratio for document verification. A total of 2,517 candidates qualified including those from the sports quota. The results are available on the official APPSC website.
The Group 2 Mains exam took place on February 23. The recruitment aims to fill 899 vacancies. A total of 79,451 candidates appeared for the exam. Out of them, 2,168 candidates advanced to document verification in a 1:2 ratio. APPSC will send call letters with the verification schedule to selected candidates.
A case regarding roster points remains under review in the High Court. The final selection will proceed based on the court’s ruling. The official website also has the final answer key for the Mains exam.
The preliminary exam for Group 2 posts took place on February 25 last year. A total of 4,83,525 candidates registered and 4,63,517 downloaded their hall tickets. Among them, 4,04,037 candidates attended the exam. A total of 92,250 candidates advanced to the Mains exam.
The Mains exam, conducted on February 23 this year had 79,451 candidates in attendance. The exam had two papers, each carrying 150 marks. The first paper covered Andhra Pradesh’s social and cultural history and the Indian Constitution. The second paper focused on India’s and Andhra Pradesh’s economic system, science and technology.
APPSC announced the Group 2 Mains results. Candidates can check their results on the official website. Those selected must attend the document verification process. The final selection depends on the High Court’s ruling. APPSC will inform candidates about the next steps.
