Balapur Ganesh Mandap Looks Like Swarnagiri Temple: But Why?

All the organisers in the city are planning for a different approach with a unique style. Hyderabad’s one of the most famous Ganesh idols is Balapur Ganesh. This time, the Balapur Ganesh organisers are planning to design their mandap in Swarnagiri Temple style. This is going to be one of the most unique styles of this year.

The time for Vinayaka Chavithi is fast approaching; only three weeks remain. Organizers are busy preparing the idols of Lord Vinayaka, and this year, many places are introducing new and unique designs. The mandapams, in particular, are drawing attention, with organizers changing their designs every year to keep things fresh and exciting. After Khairatabad Ganesh, the idol of Balapur Ganesha has become the main talk of the town. This time, Balapur Ganesha will be displayed in a mandapam modeled after the Swarnagiri Temple. The setting of the mandapam gives Balapur Ganesha a distinct and special presence.

A replica of the Swarnagiri Temple, located in Bhuvanagiri district, is being built in Yadadri. Artists from Shamirpet have already started the work. This was revealed by Kallem Niranjan Reddy, President of the Balapur Ganesh Utsav Samiti. Last year, the mandapam was decorated in the style of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. This time, the Swarnagiri-style mandapam is expected to leave devotees in awe. Organizers are closely supervising all arrangements to ensure a smooth and festive experience for everyone. Last year, the Balapur laddu was auctioned for a whopping ₹30 lakhs.

The Swarnagiri Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, located on the outskirts of Bhuvanagiri town, attracts a large number of devotees. Not only locals from Hyderabad but also pilgrims from far and wide visit this spiritual destination. The temple is surrounded by several sacred shrines, adding to its spiritual significance.
