Balochistan: Balochistan was never a part of Pakistan, according to Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch, who made this assertion on Wednesday, citing decades of “air bombings, enforced disappearances, and genocide” committed by the government. “Not to refer to Balochs as ‘Pakistan’s Own People,'” he asked the Indian media.
According to Mir, when questioned about Balochistan’s independence in an interview, “We have already declared our independence on 11 August 1947 when the British were leaving Balochistan, and the subcontinent.”
Mir Yar Baloch Statement:
According to Mir, “Balochistan and its people” showed support for India during tensions between the two countries following military actions against one another following the Pahalgam terror assault.
Additionally, he urged Indians, especially the media, YouTubers, and intellectuals, not to refer to Baloch people as “Pakistan’s people.” He said, “Baloch Story! Dear Indian patriot media, YouTube allies, and scholars defending Bharat, stop calling Baloch people ‘Pakistan’s People.’ We are Balochistani, not Pakistani.” The Baloch leader emphasized that only the Punjabis who truly represent Pakistan had never faced genocide, enforced disappearances, or airstrikes like the Baloch people have.

Balochistan Support to India:
Mir Yar Baloch strongly backed India’s stance on Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). He urged the international community to pressure Pakistan to vacate the region. “Balochistan fully supports India’s call for Pakistan to leave PoK,” he declared on May 14, 2025. He warned that if Pakistan refuses, it risks another humiliating military defeat like the surrender of 93,000 soldiers in Dhaka. He added that India can crush the Pakistani army. Since Islamabad uses its citizens as human shields, only Pakistan’s greedy army generals should face the blame for any resulting bloodshed.
