Begumpet Airport re-opening soon?..Good News!

The Centre is planning to make Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad, which was restricted to the movement of only defence, political dignitaries and private aircraft, fully accessible once again. Begumpet Airport served for almost 8 decades from 1930 to 2008. However.. currently, only VVIP flights and private flights are allowed to land and take off from Begumpet Airport. When the President, Prime Minister and Union Ministers visit Hyderabad, they land at Begumpet.
