Bengaluru Man bites driver’s Finger for splashing Rainwater

A man in Bengaluru accidentally poured rainwater on another man’s automobile, causing the other man to bite his ring finger. The man, known as Jayant Shekar, had to pay about Rs 2 lakh for surgery. The wife of Mr. Shekhar has filed a First Information Report (FIR), alleging that the other driver threatened to kill him. As of the time this article was filed, no arrests had been made. After supper on Sunday night, Mr. Shekar, who lives on Magadi Road, was driving home with his mother-in-law and wife, Parvathi.

Mr. Shekar was waiting to cross the signal and take a turn at the Lulu Mall underpass at approximately nine o’clock in the evening. He accidentally sprayed raindrops on another car while crossing. Mr. Shekar was allegedly intimidated and beaten for this harmless error. “I saw an I-20 automobile driving next to my car after I crossed the signal. A woman began yelling at me from the passenger seat. Speaking to NDTV, Mr. Shekar recounted, “The man in the driver’s seat kept asking me to stop the car.”

“The woman had rolled down the window of her automobile. I asked her to roll up the window because it was raining, but the couple continued to verbally abuse me. The man stopped my car in a matter of minutes,” he continued. The argument quickly descended into violence. The man bit the ring finger of Mr. Shekar’s right hand, causing a serious cut that needed stitches and surgery. The roads were a little wet because it had been raining. It was raining when the incident occurred. When the water sprayed over another car, I was unaware of it,” Mr. Shekar stated. Although the accused has not filed a counter-complaint, police are still looking into the matter and think both parties may have been physically involved.
