Bengaluru Stampede Tragedy: A horrific accident in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh has taken lives and left grieving families. The horrific accident – a cement carrying truck turned over onto a passenger van near the Sanjeli railway crossing.

In the wake of the tragic accident, Prime Minister Modi expressed his sorrow about the tragic loss of life.”Deeply pained at the loss of lives because of an accident in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh. Heartfelt condolences to those who lost their loved ones. Wishing those injured a speedy recovery,” he said.
In order to assist affected families after this tragedy, the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) has allocated:
₹2 lakh for the families of the deceased
₹50,000 for the injured
After this tragedy, the Madhya Pradesh government has begun an investigation into the accident and has assured the public that safety protocols will be strengthened to prevent more tragedies like this in the future. Officials have also stated they are working to locate the truck driver, who fled the scene.

This accident in Jhabua has once again raised the specter of road safety and regulatory policies for heavy vehicles.
