Delhi Court: Tahawwur Rana, the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, suffered a blow on Thursday when Delhi’s Patiala House Court denied his request for authorization to speak with his family via telephone.

The NIA court ruled that the application was denied. The inquiry is at a critical point, according to NIA, which rejected Tahawwur Rana’s appeal. “If he is permitted to speak with his family members in such a situation, he may divulge some crucial information,” NIA contended.

Jail Demands:

In his jail demands he asked three main demands. He was know as the Religious Man after the investigation. In one of his demands he asked to give Quran. According to the internal sources he was seen offering Namaz five times a day in the cell.

Delhi Court Permission:

Additionally, he also asked for a paper and a pen apart from the Quran. As these requests are not complicated, they are being met. It is reported that he is being watched closely to make sure he won’t hurt himself with the pen. Shockingly, he didn’t make any other demands. The Delhi court has granted 18 days of custody for the investigation agency.

Tahawwur Rana’s Jail Details:
