Disaster Management Issues Rain Alert for Andhra Pradesh

Rain Alert for Andhra Pradesh: AP Disaster Management Authority has announced that there is a possibility of heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh for the next three days. It is estimated that a low pressure area is likely to form in the west-central Bay of Bengal by Tuesday (May 27). Due to this, AP Disaster Management Authority MD Ronamki Kurmanath said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in the state for the next three days. Gusty winds are likely to blow at a speed of 40 kilometers to 50 kilometers per hour along the coast. People in the coastal areas have been advised to be alert. Horticultural farmers have been advised to take appropriate precautions from now on in the wake of gusty winds and heavy rains.


After Kerala, Now Rain Alert for Andhra Pradesh

On the other hand, the southwest monsoon entered Kerala on Saturday (May 24). The AP Disaster Management Authority said that the southwest monsoon entered Kerala 8 days earlier than the usual date. Disaster Management Agency MD Ronamki Kurmanath said that there are favorable weather conditions to enter the state in two to three days. On the other hand, the Disaster Management Agency has predicted that light to moderate rains are likely to occur at many places in Alluri Seetharamaraj district, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalle, Kakinada, East Godavari, Nandyal and Kurnool districts on Sunday. It has advised people to be cautious in view of the possibility of lightning.

 


Also, on Monday, there is a possibility of light rain in Alluri Seetharamaraju district, Srikakulam, Eluru district, NTR district, Krishna, Palnadu, Guntur district, Bapatla, Prakasam, Nandyal, Kurnool, Anantapur district, Sri Sathyasai district, Annamayya, Chittoor and Tirupati districts. On the other hand, on Saturday, at 6 pm, 46.2 millimeters of rainfall was recorded in Ichapuram in Srikakulam district, 43 millimeters in Arakabadra, 31.5 millimeters in Mummidivaram in Konaseema district, and 30 millimeters in Mentada in Vizianagaram district, according to the AP Disaster Management Agency. It was also revealed that the maximum temperature was recorded at 39.5 degrees in Gangudupalli in Tirupati district on Saturday.
