Donald Trump Warns Iran:
Former U.S. President Donald Trump made strong remarks about Iran during a media interaction on Wednesday, adding to the growing global tension amid the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict. Trump refused to confirm whether the U.S. was planning a military strike on Iran’s nuclear sites but warned that something major might happen soon. “I’ve had it. Next week will be big—maybe even before that,” he said.
Speaking outside the White House, Trump claimed that Iran had approached the U.S. for talks but insisted it was “too late to talk.” He hinted that his patience had run out. Without giving clear details, Trump added, “Nobody knows what I’m going to do.”
Trump also mentioned that Iran was now weak and had no real air defense systems in place. He said that he had asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “keep going,” suggesting that Israel should continue its attacks on Iran. When asked about Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Trump sarcastically replied, “Good luck.”
Meanwhile, Iran showed no signs of backing down. Ayatollah Khamenei gave a firm response, saying Iran would never surrender. He warned that any attack by the U.S. would cause “irreparable damage” and that Iran was prepared for any military action.
In a televised statement, Khamenei called Trump’s demand for “unconditional surrender” unacceptable. He added that Iran was ready to defend itself against any imposed war and stood united with its people. The situation continues to escalate with increasing attacks from Israel and growing involvement from international players.
As global leaders urge calm, the world watches closely. Any move by the U.S. could dramatically increase tensions in the Middle East. Trump’s bold statements have added uncertainty to an already dangerous conflict, and the next few days could be crucial.
