Bollywood filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has recently landed in a controversy after she made a derogatory comment on the festival ‘Holi’.
“Saare Chhapri logo ka favorite festival Holi hota hai,” said Farah Khan while appearing on the reality cooking show Celebrity Master chef. Farah has been facing backlash from social media users, since the time she made a remark which didn’t sit well with the audience.

Now, an official complaint has been made by the social media influencer Vikhas Fhatak.The complainant claims that her words were disrespectful and hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindu community. Following the complaint, the Mumbai Police have initiated an investigation into the matter.

Vikas Fhatak, who is known for his outspoken views, stated that festivals hold deep cultural significance and should not be spoken about in a derogatory manner. His lawyer, Advocate Ali Kaashif Khan, emphasized that public figures must be cautious about their statements, as their words influence millions of people.
The FIR has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code related to insulting religious sentiments and promoting hate. If proven guilty, Farah Khan could face legal consequences, including penalties or even imprisonment.
