For this second season, director Ben Stiller has approached Barack Obama for a cameo role in the series. the moment fans got to know about this news, everyone was curiously waiting for the response.

In a recent interview, ben said that he did not go directly and approach the President, but he knew his lawyer and approached through him. He said,” so I wrote an email to him. Two days later, I got an email back from President Obama that said, ‘Hey Ben, big fan of the show, love Season 1, can’t wait for Season 2. Don’t think I have time in my schedule to make this happen.”

This reply made many fans upset, but the immediate response from the President made everyone happy. even though he turned down the offer, the appreciation film got directly from him made the director happy. It is clear that Barack Obama declined a role in Soverance Season 2 because of his tight schedules which are already planned.
