“Go and tell your Modi”: Survivor of Pahalgam Terror Attack recalls

 Pahalgam Terror Attack: At least 28 people were killed in a terrorist attack on tourists in the Baisaran Valley of Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district. This is the most horrific attack on civilians in recent times. In this incident, many escaped with their lives. However, many lost their husbands before their eyes. Most of the victims were newly married couples. As the terrorists were shooting and killing them right in front of them, they were left helpless and helpless.


About the Pahalgam Terror Attack

Those who lost their loved ones in the terrorist attack in the Bainsar Valley of Pahalgam, Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir and narrowly escaped death in the terror attack are recalling the nightmare. So far, 28 people have died in the terror attack and 20 others have been injured. A woman named Pallavi from Karnataka has lost her husband Manjunath. Pallavi went into shock after her husband was shot dead by terrorists before her eyes. She and her 18-year-old son both faced the terrorist. She said that if she begged him to kill us too, a terrorist told her, ‘There will be no loss to your lives. You tell Prime Minister Narendra Modi about this attack.’

What happened to Manjunath?

Manjunath from Shivamogga, Karnataka, along with his wife Pallavi and son Abhijey, went to Kashmir on a trip and was attacked by terrorists. Speaking to Kannada media on the phone, she said, “We are currently in Pahalgam. My husband passed away before my eyes. I was helpless and could not do anything. I couldn’t even cry. I didn’t understand what had happened, Our driver was also with us. He was a very good person. He told us that Hindus were being targeted by terrorists. Three other Muslims helped us to go to safety.”


Pallavi says

“I saw three to four terrorists. After killing my husband, I confronted one terrorist and said, ‘You killed my husband, kill me too.’ My son also said, ‘You bastard, you killed my father, kill us too,'” she explained. To this, the terrorist responded, saying, “I will not kill you. Tell Modi, how terrible death will be,” Pallavi said.
Describing the horrific scene, she said, “The terrorists did not come in military uniforms. They mostly targeted men. There were many newlywed couples there. They killed only the husbands. They left the women and small children. They targeted Hindus. There were about 500 tourists there.”

“We went there on horses. My son had not eaten since morning, so my husband went to get bread for him. At first we heard the sound of gunfire. We thought it was the army firing. Then everyone started running and escaping. When I saw my husband lying in a pool of blood. A bullet hit his head. I was sitting next to him, but I could not react,” said Pallavi, breaking down in tears.

Manjunath’s last journey

The three, who had gone to Kashmir on April 19, were supposed to return on the 24th. Manjunath’s family is in shock after hearing this news. His mother has not yet been informed about Manjunath’s death. It seems that he was only told that he was injured. While Manjunath is a real estate businessman,Pallavi is a bank manager.
