Harshvardhan Rane slams: Bollywood actor Harshvardhan Rane, who played the role in Sanam Teri Kasam, has refused to be a part of the sequel if the original cast, which includes Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane, is not dropped. His refusal comes after Mawra condemned India’s military operation, Operation Sindoor, on social media.
In response to India’s Operation Sindoor, aimed at terror camps within Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Mawra Hocane used the platform X (formerly Twitter) to denounce the strikes. She described India’s move as a “cowardly attack,” writing: “Strongly condemn India’s cowardly attack on Pakistan. Innocent civilians have lost their lives. May Allah protect us all, may sense prevail. Ya Allah ho Ya Hafizo #PakistanZindabad.”
Her comments triggered outrage among Indian netizens, with several calling for a boycott of her movies.
In response to Harshvardhan’s remarks, the actor tweeted to confirm that he was bowing out of the sequel on Instagram Stories. Posting: “Although I thank them for this opportunity, where it stands currently and after I saw the pointed comments made towards my nation, I have come to a choice of respectfully choosing to not participate in Sanam Teri Kasam 2 if there remains even a bit of chance that the original cast gets repeated.”
He also added that disrespectful comments regarding any nation are not acceptable, as he said: “I respect all artists and people of this country, that country, Kenya, and even Mars, but insulting comments regarding my country by anyone are unforgivable.”
Harsha Vardhan Rane slammed SRK and Salman Khan saying, ”I am fine losing followers, but not going to let anyone trample the pride and upbringing. Standing with your country is fine, but insults and hate speech about other countries is not”

These remarks slammed the big actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were silent when the whole nation is suffering. Since pahalgam attack, there was no response from these actors. These actors have been actively participating in big image events like Ambani’s wedding and Met Gala and more. These trolls started making sense when Harshavardhan Rane clarified saying that he is okay to lose followers and these big stars are only concerned about their fame.
