Pahalgam Terror Attack: Amidst the ongoing Pahalgam Terror Attack, India has set to be in a state of emotional discontentment. The whole series of events that happened yesterday in Kashmir has once again started a war between the two religious groups. As Pahalgam Terror Attack victims were hindus, and the whole terror attack was solely done by the Muslim terrorists based on the victim’s religion, big waves of anger and resentment are being sent by the Indian Hindu community through their social media handles.
The hashtag #IndianMuslims has recently gained significant traction on X (formerly Twitter), sparking a wide array of discussions and debates across the platform. With over 32,000 posts in the past week alone, the hashtag has become a focal point for users to express their views on various issues concerning the Muslim community in India.
The surge in activity surrounding #IndianMuslims reflects a growing online discourse that encompasses a range of topics, from religious identity and cultural expression to political engagement and social justice. Users are leveraging the hashtag to share personal stories, highlight instances of discrimination, and advocate for greater inclusivity and understanding. This digital movement is not only amplifying the voices of Muslims but also fostering a broader conversation about communal harmony and coexistence in India.
However, the prominence of #IndianMuslims has also attracted controversy. In the past, similar hashtags have been used to propagate hate speech and incite division. For instance, during the aftermath of Kamlesh Tiwari’s murder in 2019, the hashtag #मुस्लिमो_का_संपूर्ण_बहिष्कार (Total boycott of Muslims) trended on Twitter, leading to widespread condemnation and calls for stricter content moderation.
Take a look at some of the tweets which are trending under this hashtag:

Not only the Muslims of Bangladesh & Pakistan, but even Indian Muslims are happy at the brutal killings of Hindus in Kashmir Bcoz they're followers of the same book in which killing of "kafirs" is considered justifiable.
