Perhaps even more perplexing was the fact that the car was abandoned and a tree was growing through it. Instead of chasing new supercars, Mallya has a different process, he is also trying to acquire cars that are rusted, neglected, or were not fully finished, and restore them. What could be old junk cars become valuable collectibles if restored.
