Golden gujiyas Sale for Holi 2025:

During Holi 2025, a confectionery in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, has thought up the novel concept of offering “Golden Gujiya.” In anticipation of the Festival of Colors, this store has created unique candies that cost ₹50,000 per kilogram. In the meantime, each piece costs ₹1300.


People are surprised at the sweets’ price. However, Shivakant Chaturvedi, the shop manager, gave an explanation for the cost. According to him, what makes the Golden Gujiya unique is its coating of 24 carat gold and unique dry fruit filling, as reported by a media source.

24-carat gold is layered on our “Golden Gujiya.” There are unique dry fruits in the filling. Silver and 24-carat gold are also consumed. “This ‘gujiya’ costs ₹1300 per piece and ₹50,000 per kg,” the news agency reported him as saying. This Golden Gujiya is unique because it contains a large amount of edible gold leaf, which gives it a characteristic golden color. It will be ready to be enjoyed at Holi 2025.

Silver Pichkari Worth 1 Lakh:
A jewelry store in Uttar Pradesh is offering miniature buckets and silver pichkaris (water cannons) for as much as ₹1 lakh. Jeweler Adesh Kumar Jain said that the store in Lucknow is selling these goods as part of an ancient custom. This “Pichkari” is given among the families of a newlywed couple as a pledge by the bride’s family to the groom’s family, according to an ancient custom. Prior to Holi 2025, he allegedly told the wire agency that it costs between ₹8,000 and ₹1 lakh.

“Intricate carvings, meenakari work, and stone inlays were introduced for the first time this year, and they have been greatly appreciated,” he continued. According to the sources, the shop owner sold almost 1000 pichkari’s in lucknow itself for Holi 2025.
