In India, every individual is entitled to one free credit report annually from each of the four major credit bureaus: TransUnion CIBIL, Equifax, Experian, and CRIF High Mark. This is in line with guidelines set by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Here’s a simple guide to help you access your free credit report from each of these credit bureaus.

1. CIBIL (TransUnion CIBIL)

Visit the official CIBIL website: [www.transunioncibil.com](https://www.transunioncibil.com).
Register with your personal details such as PAN, date of birth, mobile number, and email address.
Complete identity verification via an OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
You can download your credit card report once a year.


2. Equifax

Go to the official Equifax website: [www.equifax.co.in](https://www.equifax.co.in).
Sign up with your PAN, address, mobile number, and a valid email address.
After identity verification, you can access your free credit report online. Alternatively, you can request it offline by submitting a form along with identity and address proof.

3. Experian

Visit [www.experian.in](https://www.experian.in) and fill in your basic details like PAN, Aadhaar number, mobile number, and email address.
Verify your identity using an OTP sent to your mobile.
Your free credit report will be available for download. You can access this report once every year.

4. CRIF High Mark

Navigate to [www.crifhighmark.com](https://www.crifhighmark.com).
Register by submitting your PAN, Aadhaar, address, email, and mobile number.
Verify your identity through the OTP and download your  credit report.

Checking your credit cardbreport is considered a “soft inquiry” and does not affect your credit score.
