Hyderabad ORR: Tenders opened for Greenfield Road

The government has taken a initiative to build the fourth city which is already named as Future City. This future city is situated near Mirkhan peta in Rangareddy District, Skill university is also going to set up in the same place. Greenfield Road, which is connecting the future city from Hyderabad ORR, has begun its work. For this work, HMDA has opened its tenders to the public. They planned to complete this work in two phases.


Greenfield Road Details:
This road is going to connect the existing Hyderabad Outer Ring Road (ORR) from Raviryal Interchange 13 to Amangal Regional Ring Road (RRR). This complete greenfield road is going to be a 41.50 km stretch with lush greenery on both sides.
The Land acquisition process has already started, and most of the land works are about to be completed. HMDA has opened tenders for the first phase, which is a 19.2 Km stretch that is constructed from Raviryal Interchange to Mirkhanpet in the Rangareddy district. In the second phase, the work is going to be for the remaining 22.30 km stretch, which is going to connect Mirkhanpet to Amangal.

Connecting Villages:
This road is going to connect 14 villages across the road in Ranga Reddy District.
Maheswaram – Ibrahimpatnam – Kandukur – Yacharam – Kadtal – Amangal mandals in Rangareddy district. The total cost of the first phase 19.2 km is estimated to be around 1,665 crore. The second phase of 22.30 km is estimated to be around 2,365 crores.

This complete road is going to be 100 feet wide with lush greenery on both sides. HMDA is planning to make this highway six-lane with a two-lane service road on both sides. There will be reserved land for the upcoming metro and railway corridor on the same route. HMDA is planning to build green belts, cycle tracks, and utility corridors, including greenery.

HMDA officials said that tender documents should be submitted by February 28, and the technical bids for this will be opened on March 21. Meanwhile, most of the people are planning to buy lands nearby this project as the land rates are going to skyrocket; lands here are already worth crores right now.
