Hyderabad: Overbridges to End Railway Gate Delays in THESE areas

Hyderabad: The people of the united Nalgonda district will soon get rid of the problems of railway gates. The Center has received proposals to construct nine ROBs on the Secunderabad-Kazipet and Bibinagar-Nadikudi routes. If the Center approves, the problem of railway gates in Bhuvanagiri and Nalgonda areas will be permanently solved.

Overbridges to End Railway Gate Delays

Good news for the people of the united Nalgonda district. The difficulties of railway gates will soon be resolved. The government is working towards this end. The government is preparing to construct nine new railway overbridges (ROBs) on the Secunderabad-Kazipet and Bibinagar-Nadikudi rail routes in Nalgonda and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts. To this end, proposals have been sent to the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) for funding under the CRIF Setubandhan scheme. These constructions will be undertaken in partnership with the central and state governments. If the center gives its approval, the difficulties of railway gates that have existed for years will soon be resolved.

The residents of Urban Colony are facing severe problems especially due to the railway gate at the old bus stand in Bhuvanagiri. Since it is next to the railway station, they have to wait for hours due to frequent gate closings. Sometimes goods trains are also stopped in the middle of the gate. Similarly, the Muthireddygudem gate at Mooskunta on the outskirts of Bhuvanagiri is also causing disruption to traffic. This route will reduce the distance and time for those going from Bhuvanagiri to Yadagirigutta.

In the Pagidipalli-Nadikudi section, ROBs have been proposed to be constructed at level crossing 32 between Narkatpally-Munugode, level crossing 56 between Mukundapuram-Thipparthi, level crossing 45 between Nalgonda FCI Godamlu-Peddabanda, level crossing 86 between Kondrapol-Veerlapalem in Damacherla mandal, and level crossing 64 between Tripuraram-Kukkadam. In Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, proposals have been sent to construct ROBs at level crossing 30 on the Secunderabad-Kazipet route at Bhuvanagiri-Pagidipalli, level crossing 16 between Choutuppal-Nagaram, level crossing 38 at Bhuvanagiri old bus stand, and level crossing 31 at Muthireddygudem gate. While these will soon get the green signal, the difficulties at the railway gate will be over.
