Hyderabad Weather Alert:
The weather in Hyderabad has become cool and pleasant due to recent rainfall. On Monday, light to moderate showers were reported in many parts of the city. According to officials at the Begumpet Meteorological Department, Hyderabad is likely to receive rain for the next three days as well. These showers may be accompanied by thunder and lightning.
Areas like Rajendranagar, Malkajgiri, Musheerabad, Uppal, Shaikpet, Alwal, Maredpally, Serilingampally, and Balanagar saw light rainfall on Monday. People in these areas experienced slight relief from the recent heat as the rain brought down temperatures.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued a yellow alert for Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, and Ranga Reddy districts for Tuesday and Thursday. This means people should be cautious, as strong winds and more rain are expected.
Officials have warned that winds could blow at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour during this period. Surface-level winds are expected to blow from the north at speeds of 6 to 10 kilometers per hour. These weather conditions may cause temporary disruptions in daily life, especially traffic and outdoor work.
People are advised to carry umbrellas and avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rainfall or thunderstorms. Local authorities have been alerted to stay prepared for any emergencies such as waterlogging or tree falls.
Overall, the next few days will remain rainy and cloudy in Hyderabad and nearby areas. Citizens are requested to follow weather updates and safety instructions from official sources to stay safe and prepared.
