Temperature, Rain Chances & More:
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts a mostly cloudy day with the likelihood of one or two spells of rain or thunderstorms in different parts of the city. The IMD expects the temperate weather to continue into the evening, bringing cooler winds and much-needed rainfall. According to the forecast, the sun will set at 6:50 PM IST today and will rise at 5:41 AM IST tomorrow. The moon will set at 5:19 AM and will rise at 7:06 PM, offering skywatchers a chance to observe its movements.
This change in weather signals the gradual approach of the early monsoon season. As monsoon currents gain strength, meteorologists expect the frequency of these intermittent showers to increase in the coming days. In the meantime, authorities advise residents to carry umbrellas and plan their commutes with caution, as sudden rain spells could trigger short-lived traffic congestion. However, the cooler temperatures offer a welcome break from the city’s recent summer heat.
