India-Pakistan Tensions: Abdali Missile Test Hints on War

Pakistan has successfully tested the training launch of Abdali Weapon System. It is a short-range ballistic missile capable of striking a distance of up to 450 km. The test of the missile was conducted under Exercise INDUS and was intended to prove technical parameters like high-order navigation systems and increased pace. In the middle of India-Pakistan Tensions, Pakistan is hinting on a war or just trying to pretend that they are ready for the war against the gaint forces like India, USA and more.


The missile was launched under the direction of senior most officers of Pakistan’s Army Strategic Forces Command. Along with Strategic Plans Division, scientists and engineers who were responsible for its development. Country leadership, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari, congratulated the strategic forces for their preparedness and technology.

Abdali Missile Test Hints on War:

The missile test comes in the wake of heightened tensions between Pakistan and India following the Pahalgam terror attack. In which some people lost their lives. India has accused Pakistan-backed terror outfits of conducting the attack, for which Pakistan has strongly denied responsibility. Diplomatic expulsions, closure of borders, and increased military vigilance on both sides have been the outcome of the attack. Their officials have made strong statements too, further escalating the tensions. The world community appealed for restraint as diplomatic efforts were urged to ease tempers before these are allowed to degenerate further into more conflict.


Regional Security Issues and International Responses

The test of a recent missile has come to concern the regional security with experts mentioning implications towards the instability of South Asia. Although Pakistan maintains that the missile project is defensively oriented in nature. India views developments like these suspiciously in the light of previous discord between the two nations. The world powers like America and China have urged the two nations to opt for diplomacy rather than war. Security experts are following the events closely, cautioning that further poking would have unexpected repercussions on the bilateral relations and regional stability.

India-Pakistan Tensions:

India Pakistan has a history of rivalry, right from sports to politics. There have been many evident situations to support this statement. While Indians tried to be on the good terms, Pakistan has never even tried, the recent terror attacks on Pahalgam. Which is a tourist spot, costed many lives. This time, Indian Government is taking strict measures to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
