Deterioration has escalated between Pakistan and India after India’s retaliation against the Pahalgam terrorist attack in the form of Operation Sindoor. As a response to Pakistan’s fresh attempts to target Indian military camps and civilian residential locations, Indian Govt Confirms ‘Custom Match Attacks’ on Pakistan, with a target in mind at specific targets with the intention to kill the Pakistan threat.
Indian retaliatory strikes, according to government sources, are proportionate and targeted in the sense that they struck terror infrastructure alone and never touched Pakistani military establishments or civilian pockets.
“Terror hideouts were targeted for the terror crime committed by terror groups by killing innocent Indians. We didn’t target Pakistan military bases or civilian pockets,” sources informed CNN-News18.
The strategy is intended to neutralize terror threats without triggering an all-out war between the two countries.
India’s Retaliatory Strikes: Prime Targets
India carried out targeted attacks against three prime military air bases located in Rawalpindi, Shorkot, and Chakwal. Indian drones also targeted Pakistani targets in Sialkot and Narowal, and at the Serena Hotel located in the vicinity of the Diplomatic Enclave in Islamabad.
The attacks came hours after Pakistan initiated a fresh round of drone attacks, hitting 26 targets in India.
Pakistan has reportedly launched several attacks on Indian Army bases and civilian areas. Six ballistic missiles launched by Pakistan were intercepted effectively by the Indian military, averting further losses.
In a separate accident, debris from a Pakistani drone landed on a house in Ferozpor, Punjab, injuring three family members.
India’s Military Strategy: Precision Against Escalation
India’s strategy is still careful and calibrated, concentrated on countering terror inputs and not escalating the war into an all-out conflict.
Government sources were reminded that Pakistan’s actions are criminal, and India’s response is proportionate to the degree of threat.
“Pakistan’s activity since last night was criminal attempts. They attempted serial attacks on Indian army installations. They struck Indian civilian targets as well. Their list of crimes is pretty lengthy. India is only conducting custom match attacks,” sources continued.
India’s ‘Custom Match Attacks’ are a planned and planned military reaction to the aggression of Pakistan. Although tensions are at an all-time high, India’s approach is such that terror infrastructure is hit without further escalating the situation.
