India’s BrahMos Missile Deployment post Pakistan Ceasefire Violation

In retaliation to the ceasefire violation by Pakistan, India’s BrahMos Missile Deployment is reported, It used its BrahMos supersonic cruise missile in guided strikes against important Pakistani military facilities. This is a grave escalation and shows the sophistication of India’s military technology.

India’s BrahMos Missile Deployment

The Mach 3 speed, low radar cross-section, and accuracy-prediction targeting of BrahMos make it one of the world’s most advanced cruise missiles. India reportedly launched BrahMos, along with other air-delivered ordnance, like the HAMMER and SCALP missiles, to deliver high-precision deep into Pakistani territory.

Targeted Pakistan Military Facilities

Indian retaliatory action targeted several Pakistan Air Force (PAF) airbases, including:

Rafiqui Air Base (Shorkot, Jhang)

Murid Air Base (Chakwal)

Nur Khan Air Base (Chaklala, Rawalpindi)

Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, and Chunian (Kasur)

Skardu, Bholari, Jacobabad, and Sargodha Air Bases
The Pasrur and Sialkot radar sites were also hit and destroyed with precision weapons.

India’s Strategic Response

The attacks were precision-striked to target command centers, UAV bases, radar stations. And weapon stores with the minimum collateral damage to civilian casualty. The Indian military were eager to convey that the move was a proportional retaliation for the ceasefire violation by Pakistan.

Pakistan’s Response and Refutations

Pakistan accused Indian missiles of striking three airbases, and Islamabad responded with Operation Iron Wall. Pakistan’s claims, however, have been dismissed by Indian authorities as disinformation.

The induction of India’s first time launch of the BrahMos missile in combat is a step that signals a shift in military strategy, proving its technology strength and strategic steps. Though tensions dominate the air, leaders around the globe are urging the two nations to move towards diplomatic negotiations to stop further escalation.
