On the evening of February 4, 2025, former Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid was involved in a minor traffic incident in Bengaluru’s Indiranagar area.


 

Known for his calm demeanor, Dravid’s unexpected reaction became a talking point among fans and media alike.
According to eyewitnesses, Dravid’s car was rear-ended by another vehicle at a traffic signal. Following the collision, Dravid stepped out of his car and engaged in a heated exchange with the other driver. Passersby noted that while the argument was intense, it remained verbal, and no physical altercation occurred.


This incident is particularly surprising given Dravid’s reputation for composure both on and off the field. Often referred to as “The Wall” for his steadfastness in cricket, such public displays of anger are rare for him.

Interestingly, this real-life episode mirrors a popular advertisement from 2021, where Dravid humorously portrayed an angry persona, declaring himself as “Indiranagar ka Gunda.”he ad showcased Dravid in an uncharacteristically aggressive light, much to the amusement of fans.he recent incident has led to a resurgence of this ad on social media, with many drawing parallels between the reel and real-life scenarios.

Rahul Dravid, has had an illustrious cricketing career, representing India in 164 Tests and 344 One Day Internationals. Post-retirement, he took on coaching roles, including serving as the head coach of the Indian national team. His contributions to cricket have earned him numerous accolades, including the Padma Bhushan, India’s third-highest civilian award.

 

While the recent incident is minor and no injuries were reported, it has certainly added an unexpected chapter to Dravid’s public life, blending the lines between his on-screen portrayal and real-world experiences.
