Jio Phones: Reliance Jio’s budget-friendly phones have been tied up with quick commerce platform Swiggy Instamart to deliver their budget-friendly Jio phones to customers within 10 minutes. Jio has roped in Instamart to deliver the JioBharat V4 and JioPhone Prima 2 in 95 cities across the country.
The JioBharat V4 is a 4G feature phone from Reliance Jio priced at Rs 799. The phone supports UPI payments through JioPay. Apart from this, the JioBharat V4 also comes with 455 live TV channels including sports, a 1000mAh battery, and HD voice calling.
Meanwhile, Reliance Jio is selling the JioPhone Prima 2 at a price of 2,799. This phone has improved features like YouTube, Facebook, Google Voice Assistant, and JioTV. The phone, which has a Snapdragon processor, has 512 MB RAM and a 2,000 mAh battery, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The JioPhone Prima 2 also supports 23 languages.
Swiggy Instamart, which was launched in 2020, provides services in 125 cities in the country. Instamart, a quick commerce platform, mainly sells groceries. Instamart’s goal is to deliver goods to customers within 10 minutes of ordering. Since last year, Swiggy has been selling smartphones from Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, Redmi, Motorola, Oppo, Vivo, and Realme through Instamart.
