JNTU-Hyderabad Alliance with German University of Studies

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad made a huge stride in international cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the German University of Advanced Studies (GV). The collaboration is designed to promote Indo-German cooperation in education, research, and innovation, which paves the way for innovative opportunities for students and teachers. JNTU-Hyderabad Alliance:

Introduction of a Dual Degree Programme One of the distinctive aspects of the MoU is the launching of an international-standard-based double degree program. The double degree program will introduce the students to international learning systems and gain acceptable degrees in India and Germany. The MoU was signed by JNTU-Hyderabad Registrar Prof. K Venkateswara Rao and GV representative Md Raj Vangapandu, and JNTU-Hyderabad Vice-Chancellor Prof. T Kishan Kumar Reddy graced the function.

Joint Research and Exchange Programmes:


The partnership is also being extended to the level of academic qualifications, i.e., teacher-student exchange programs. The programs will enable people to study in other learning systems and share knowledge across borders. Joint research projects will then be undertaken to address the issues of the world and enable innovation. Guest lectures and workshops by Indo-German lecturers are also to be organized to enable learning.

Creation of Centres of Excellence:

Under the collaborative partnership, talks have been on for establishing ‘Centres of Excellence’ for research and innovation. The centers will be centers of excellence in innovative research. Technological innovations that will further enhance the research and academic strength of the two institutions. A Global Student and Faculty Experience JNTU-Hyderabad Vice-Chancellor Prof. T Kishan Kumar Reddy emphasized the significance of the collaboration. He said that it will give students and faculty members rich global exposure.

The collaboration will give exposure to world-class learning and research, which will equip participants to face the challenges of the rapidly growing globalizing world today. This MoU is an internationalization effort by JNTU-Hyderabad, which has the potential of rich research and academic experience.
