Former Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi(BRS) president K. Chandrashekar Rao(KCR) spotted today at the Regional Passport Office in Secunderabad,Hyderabad. There is a speculation going on that, KCR would possibly visit United States in the future, as he reportedly went there for the passport renewal.

Sources claim that Himanshu, the grandson of former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), is currently studying in the United States. and KCR renewed his passport because he intends to travel to the United States next month to see his grandson.

KCR went to Hyderabad from his Erravalli home before going to the passport office and later he went back to his home in Nandinagar after finishing the renewal procedure. Later, after taking a short break, he went to Telangana Bhavan.Also,being his first appearance at Telangana Bhavan in almost seven months, his visit is quite noteworthy.

According to BRS insiders, KCR would advise party officials strategically on the celebration of BRS Foundation Day and the party’s future direction.

Though, there are no official confirmations about his international visit, several speculations have been made regarding the potential reasons for him to visit US.

Interestingly, BRS Party, earlier TRS, will celebrate its Silver Jubilee in 2025. Twenty-five years ago, KCR started the party on April 27, 2001, to create a separate Telangana state. This year, the party is planning to celebrate its Silver Jubilee as a grand affair. Ever since the party lost in 2023, KCR hasn’t made many public appearances. He did not even attend Assembly sessions. The party and cadre hope that KCR will return to active politics with this occasion. Although not officially confirmed, BRS is preparing for a yearlong celebration. It might include a two-day plenary session and a massive public gathering on the city outskirts.
