The World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 also kicked off in style in Mumbai as Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened it. The high-profile event, conducted at the Jio World Convention Centre, featured Bollywood icons, South Indian superstars, and foreign entertainment leaders attending the event to mark the growing dominance of India in media and entertainment. Some of the Bollywood celebrities present at the summit were Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Sobhita Dhulipala and Karan Johar. Established film personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, and Anil Kapoor also made their presence felt.
These actors has always been passionate about developing the scope of Indian Cinema. Their presence at this historic summit was very much valued due to the work they contribute to the Industry.

The summit was graced by big celebs like Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, and Allu Arjun representing the South Indian Film Industry. Their participation highlighted the scope of pan-Indian growth of entertainment industry.

They were present to underscore the primacy of digital platforms in determining the future of entertainment.
