Mahesh Babu Real Estate Case: Hero Mahesh Babu is being haunted by a real estate case. He is now in trouble for promoting it. He is having to go around the cases for acting as a brand ambassador for the property.
Mahesh Babu was previously the spokesperson for Sai Surya Developers, a leading real estate company in the state.
A customer who bought a plot in this property has filed a case against the company, which was promoted by Mahesh Babu, alleging that they were cheated. This has now landed Mahesh in trouble.
It is known that Mahesh Babu promotes many brands. He is the hero who does the most commercial ads among Telugu heroes. As part of that, he acted as the spokesperson for Sai Surya Developers.
Two customers complained that they bought a plot of land in Balapur for Rs. 34.80 lakhs after seeing a brochure with Mahesh’s photo. The company returned only Rs. 15 lakhs when it was supposed to give them the money because the plot did not have a layout. The other twenty lakhs were not given.
With this, they approached the court. The Rangareddy District Consumer Commission has issued a notice to Mahesh Babu in this case. The commission notices have asked Mahesh to appear for the hearing on Monday (July 7). Along with Mahesh, representatives of the company are also expected to attend this hearing.
It is known that Mahesh Babu has faced ED investigation related to this company in the past. There are several allegations against Surana Group and its subsidiary Sai Surya Developers.
There are allegations that Mahesh Babu has endorsed unauthorized projects belonging to Sai Surya Developers and Surana Group.
On the other hand, Mahesh Babu has also been accused of taking part in his remuneration block. He is said to have received Rs 5.9 crore for promoting Sai Surya Developers’ projects.
It was revealed that Rs.3.4 crore was paid by cheque and Rs.2.5 crore in cash. This is what led to the ED raids. They investigated from the angle of money laundering.
The ED investigated, thinking that the money was transferred in the wrong direction. It is sad that now another case is haunting Mahesh.
