Viral Video: A domestic worker was arrested by authorities in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, on Friday for reportedly peeing on utensils while cleaning them at a home in the Nagina neighborhood. After a video of the defendant, Samantra, became viral on social media, the incident was made public. She is seen washing the utensils and peeing on them in the alleged video.

The woman was taken into custody following the release of the footage on Thursday, according to Sanjay Kumar, the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Nagina Police Station.

Police Statement:
Looking at the incident, Bijor police have responded and said, “In the said case, the Nagina police station has arrested the said woman under Section 170 BNSS and taken action. Necessary proceedings are underway.”

उक्त प्रकरण में थाना नगीना पुलिस द्वारा उक्त महिला को धारा 170 बीएनएसएस में गिरफ्तार कर कार्यवाही की गयी है। आवश्यक कार्यवाही प्रचलित है।
