Man Who Sheltered Terrorists Drowned in Kulgam

While fleeing the security forces in the Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, a man who provided food and shelter to terrorists drowned after jumping into a river. Imitiaz Ahmad Magray, a 23-year-old male, is shown in a video shot from a higher altitude abruptly plunging into the stony river after momentarily glancing about the wooded region.

It is reported that Magray was taken into custody by the police on Saturday. According to sources, he admitted to the police during interrogation that he provided supplies and food to terrorists who were holed up in the Tangmarg jungle in Kulgam. According to sources, the accused consented to guide the security personnel to the terrorists’ hiding place. Magray attempted to escape by jumping into the Veshaw River on Sunday morning while leading a combined army and police squad on a raid of the hideout.

Additionally, his escape was caught on camera. When he decided to run, no one was around. The man was seen in the video attempting to swim, but he drowned after being dragged away by the powerful current. Everything that happened was caught on video. According to authorities, the security forces denounced people who disseminated false information regarding the incident. According to authorities, the man’s untimely death should not be mistakenly attributed to the security personnel.

Mehbooba Mufti, a former chief minister and head of the Peoples Democratic Party, claimed earlier on Sunday that Imtiyaz Ahmad Magray’s death was the result of a conspiracy.

Take A Look At The Tweet:

“There are strong claims of foul play after yet another body was found in a Kulgam river. According to locals, Imtiyaz Magray was taken by the army two days ago, and his body has suddenly and unexplainably turned up in the river,” Ms. Mufti wrote in a post on X. A local citizen was previously apprehended providing food and logistical support to terrorists with cross-border connections.
