Miss World: On Sunday, Miss World competitors will tour the Telangana police’s Integrated Command Control Center in Hyderabad as part of the ‘Secure Hyderabad, Safe Tourism’ campaign, which aims to promote tourism and highlight the state’s law enforcement capabilities.

Programs to be conducted:

Several police groups, including the Mounted Police, Dog Squad, and the elite OCTOPUS commando team, will present displays to showcase the strength of Telangana’s police forces. Later, the competitors will offer floral tributes at the Telangana Thalli statue and tour the State Secretariat. A drone and 3D mapping demonstration will show how the government implements its programs.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, cabinet members, advisors, MLAs, MLCs, and secretariat officials are expected to attend the event. The Miss World 2025 competition starts on May 10 in Hyderabad and runs through May 13. The Telangana government is using this platform to promote the state as a global travel and investment destination.

Previous Visit:

The competitors visited Ramoji Film City, the world’s largest film complex, and participated in sporting events on Saturday. The state government has developed a detailed action plan to use the Miss World pageant to promote Telangana’s investment and tourism potential.
