Missed IndiGo Flight Loss of ₹2.65 Lakh: Blames ‘Silent Airport’

Missed IndiGo Flight: After missing his flight, a traveler from Jaipur to Mumbai has accused IndiGo of inadequate management and lack of support, claiming that this resulted in a ₹2.65 lakh loss for his company. Chayan Garg wrote a thorough post on LinkedIn about his experience traveling to Mumbai for a crucial client meeting. He stated that he cleared security by 5:10 AM and reached the Jaipur airport well in advance of his early morning trip.

“I was informed that boarding would start in ten to fifteen minutes. I hurried to the restroom because the gate was packed with people,” he stated. But he was told that boarding had already closed when he got back twelve minutes later. According to Garg, “I was surprised because the boarding was supposed to start, not end.”

Garg’s LinkedIn Post:

When he asked why there had been no announcement for his flight to Mumbai, the personnel said that Jaipur is a “silent airport.” However, Garg noted that minutes earlier, an additional IndiGo aircraft to Dehradun had been announced. “The staff denied it directly to my face when I said that,” he claimed.

Garg added that he appealed with folded hands, stating that he had an important meeting. He tried to board the airplane but was denied access. “No other choice. The following flight won’t help. No reimbursement. “No compassion,” he declared. Garg claims that he lost out on a business for ₹2.65 lakh because of the missing flight. “We lost the customer. “A month’s work in a matter of seconds,” he wrote.

“This isn’t about one missed flight,” he continued, describing the experience as discouraging. It has to do with responsibility. It has to do with humanity.

He called on airlines to be kinder and more equitable to their customers, particularly in trying circumstances like inclement weather. Garg also asked people in the aviation sector for assistance in figuring out how to get a reimbursement or compensation.
