Missile Attack: The Israeli Defense Forces, which are waging war on Iran under the name of Operation Rising Lion, have intensified their attacks. They are launching lightning strikes targeting military bases, oil facilities, and nuclear facilities in Iran. In this context, an Israeli missile recently attacked the headquarters of the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network, the official Iranian TV channel in the capital Tehran . At that time, while the news was being broadcast live, a female anchor was reading the news, condemning the Israeli attacks. Just then, the lady anchor fled from the studio with her life in her hands as a missile hit the studio. The video of this incident is now going viral on social media.
The Islamic Republic of Iran News Network stopped live news broadcasts after this missile attack. It is noteworthy that Israel had issued severe warnings an hour before the attack to vacate the TV studios in Tehran. On the other hand, Israel announced on Monday that it had gained air superiority over Iran. It announced that it was controlling the airspace from western Iran to Tehran.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz also warned that it would target Iranian media. In retaliation, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards called for the evacuation of Tel Aviv citizens. The incident has further increased tensions between the two countries and is raising fears of war. In the video that is going viral, the female anchor is clearly seen leaving the studio in the middle of the room while shouting “Allahu Hu” in fear. While the female anchor was giving commentary, a loud explosion was suddenly heard. Then smoke entered the studio. At the same time, it seems that the ceiling collapsed. She and other staff in the studio were also heard screaming in the video.

An hour before the attack, the Israel Defense Forces issued a warning in Farsi. It warned residents of District 3 in northern Tehran to evacuate, highlighting the area where the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network headquarters is located. The area is home to hospitals, a police station, and a state media outlet. Shortly before the missile strike, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that Iran’s state television and radio stations would be down. On June 13, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion, targeting Iran’s nuclear and missile programs.
After the attack on the TV station in Tehran, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards called for the evacuation of citizens in the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv. They said they would retaliate. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards issued this warning in the wake of Iran’s accusation that Israel had crossed red lines by targeting not only military bases but also civilian infrastructure and media platforms. On the other hand, on Monday morning, Iranian missile strikes hit major Israeli cities. At least 8 people were killed in these attacks and dozens were injured. As the two countries attacked key cities, there are growing fears that the conflict could escalate into a full-scale regional war as tensions continue to rise from the ongoing Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.
Israel launched the current attack, codenamed Operation Rising Lion, in response to intelligence that Iran is on the verge of completing a nuclear bomb . The Israeli military is targeting infrastructure related to nuclear development and ballistic missiles to disrupt Iran’s capabilities.
