The IAF confirmed that the pilot suffered fatal injuries when the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas crashed at Al Maktoum International Airport during a display.

In this video, the person was seen explaining that India’s proudest fighter jet, Tejas, is going to show its capabilities in the Dubai Airshow. Who is Wing Commander Namansh Syal?
Wing Commander Namansh Syal is a 34-year-old from Nagrota Bagwan, Kangra, has expertise flying Sukhoi Su-30 MKIs and was trained in the MiG-21, which was just withdrawn from the Indian Air Force. He had been flying Tejas of the Third Squadron lately.

Namansh Syal’s father says he had spoken to his son just a day earlier. He had said, “Be sure to watch my performance tomorrow, on TV or YouTube.” But at around 4 p.m., Jagannath Syal was watching live updates of the air show on YouTube when news of the Tejas crash appeared. Shortly after, six Air Force officers arrived at his home, and his worst fears came true.
