Namma Metro Yellow Line is Now Open: Check Fares, Route and Timings

Namma Metro Yellow Line: Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened Bengaluru’s long-delayed Yellow Line of Namma Metro, linking Bommasandra and RV Road (Ragigudda). This 16-station, 19-kilometer line will directly reduce traffic through key intersections like Silk Board Junction and Electronic City, which hosts numerous biotech and IT companies.

Meanwhile, just a few days before the Prime Minister visited the southern state, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi organized a “Vote Adhikar Rally” to protest the alleged “vote theft.” Furthermore, based on its analysis of the Mahadevapura assembly segment, the Congress directly accused Karnataka of committing electoral fraud during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Yellow Line Metro Fares:

The one-way fares match the current Namma Metro rates, ranging between ₹10 and ₹90. Moreover, the longest trip, from Whitefield on the Purple Line to Bommasandra on the Yellow Line, costs ₹90, while the shortest trip, from RV Road to Jayadeva, costs ₹10.
