The Maha Shivaratri gift

After inspecting the Amberpet flyover, Kishan Reddy spoke to the media about the road from Chadar Ghat to the Warangal National Highway, which was widened during NTR’s tenure as Chief Minister. He noted that further widening of the road at Amberpet has not been possible due to the crematoriums located on both sides.

As the MLA and MP of Amberpet, Kishan Reddy took the initiative to approach the central government and requested the construction of a flyover, citing the cemetery’s presence. He pointed out the significant traffic obstruction on this route, which affects local residents and those traveling from Warangal and Khammam along the national highway.

Kishan Reddy mentioned that when he requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to approve the flyover project, the Prime Minister promptly agreed and sanctioned it.

He also said that the road expansion has become a problem due to the presence of graveyards on both sides under the flyover and he asked the state government to complete the land acquisition immediately. Union Minister Kishan Reddy asked the people of Amberpet to cooperate in every way thereby, stating that the state government needs to come forward and acquire land at the other five places and cooperate in the road expansion. He reminded that even after receiving a cheque of Rs. 2 crore 51 lakhs for land acquisition at one place and the land was not handed over to the National Highway Authority. Kishan Reddy requested the state government to cooperate in providing it quickly.
