The internet now seeks for the reasons behind the absence of Indian flag. This incident has led to a debate on social media, but several speculations have been made by the Indians as the tri-color flag of India is excluded at the iconic venue in the stadium.

Eventhough the exact reason behind the absence of the flag is unknown, It is said by the majority that -as the Indian government didn’t approve the team’s travel to Pakistan, thereby choosing Dubai as an alternate venue for their matches, it agitated the Pakistan government. Thus, they intentionally didn’t keep the Indian flag on the venue.

About Champions Trophy 2025

The ICC released a brand introduction film on November 13, 2024, along with a new visual identity and an unusual typographic emblem for the Champions Trophy. The characteristic white coats, which pay homage to the Champions Trophy’s past, go hand in hand with the new features.

The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy was supposed to be held in Pakistan, but India declined to go there because of security concerns. As a result, the BCCI and PCB agreed that games would be held throughout Pakistan and at a neutral location, which was later revealed to be the United Arab Emirates.
