Additionally, Bengaluru Police announced that from 5 to 6 PM, a felicitation event will be place at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Due to anticipated traffic congestion, authorities have advised people to stay off the roads surrounding Vidhana Soudha and Chinnaswamy Stadium between 3 and 8 p.m.

No Victory Parade in Open Vehicle:
After an 18-year wait, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) finally clinched their first IPL title, and the Karnataka government plans to honor the team with a lavish felicitation ceremony on Wednesday. However, there will be no victory parade or open procession, according to Home Minister G. Parameshwara, who cited security concerns as the primary reason.
Home Minister Statements:
Speaking to the media, Parameshwara clarified that the RCB team will arrive at Vidhana Soudha by bus for the official event and then proceed directly to the cricket stadium, also by bus. “There will be no procession in an open vehicle,” he stated. The Karnataka State Cricket Academy (KSCA) also declined the idea of an open parade, prioritizing the team’s safety. “Once the Chief Minister felicitates the team, one or two members may speak on behalf of the squad. Beyond that, there won’t be any additional programs. KSCA has its event planned at the stadium,” he added. The government has already made all necessary security and traffic arrangements to ensure the event runs smoothly.
CM Siddaramaiah Statements:
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah extended his heartfelt congratulations to the team and its fans. “I congratulate all the RCB team members and their supporters. The entire state and country are proud. RCB had never won the IPL, and now, in the eighteenth season, they finally did. It has made me immensely happy,” he said. The CM will also pay tribute to the Rajat Patidar-led squad on the steps of the Vidhana Soudha, the state’s iconic legislative building.
He also said, “At 4 pm, I will felicitate the team on the grand steps of Vidhana Soudha.” With an exciting six-run victory over Punjab Kings in Tuesday’s final in Ahmedabad, RCB ended an 18-year title wait and won their first IPL championship. After three previous finishes as runners-up, RCB finally raised the prized trophy.
