BSF Kills 7 Terrorists: On the intervening night of May 8 and 9, 2025, the Border Security Force (BSF) shot down at least seven terrorists while successfully thwarting a massive infiltration attempt at the International Border in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The BSF severely damaged Pakistan Post Dhandhar, believed to be the origin of the infiltration attempt. On May 8–9, 2025, BSF troops killed at least seven terrorists and destroyed the post, successfully thwarting a major infiltration attempt along the International Boundary in Samba district, J&K, according to a BSF source.
The BSF shared a thermal imager clip showing the post’s destruction. The operation comes amid rising tensions along the western front, following multiple drone attacks and ceasefire violations in the area. India has successfully attacked JeM training grounds and hideouts in Pakistan as part of Operation Sindoor. The organized and methodical attacks on the terror camps were a reaction to the April 22 killings of 26 tourists at Pahalgam, which were carried out by the Pakistani terror outfit. Pakistan launched assaults at various locations in Jammu, Pathankot, and Jaisalmer on Thursday night, coinciding with the infiltration efforts by Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists with the assistance of Pakistan Rangers..
In a statement, the Indian Army said that on the intervening nights of May 8 and 9, 2025, the Pakistani Armed Forces carried out many attacks throughout the whole Western Border using drones and other weapons. Along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani forces also engaged in a number of cease fire violations (CFVs). The drone attacks were successfully repelled, and the CFVs received a suitable response. The Indian Army is still dedicated to defending the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. Every malicious scheme shall be met with force.
