Pahalgam Attack: Photo Shows Terrorist with AK-47

Pahalgam Attack: One of the alleged terrorists involved in the attack in the Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir has been depicted in an image. The TV reports claimed that the man in the picture was fleeing while holding an AK-47 gun. Nevertheless, it is impossible to independently confirm the photograph’s validity. At least 28 tourists were killed and numerous others were injured Tuesday in what is being called the bloodiest attack since Article 370 was repealed in 2019.

Survivors Statements:

Survivors claim that six foreign terrorists targeting their victims based on their faith were wearing Army fatigue uniforms. Before firing at close range, the attackers allegedly asked victims to recite Islamic texts and identify themselves by name.

What Happened:

The incident happened at 1:30 pm while visitors were unwinding in the charming meadow, which was encircled by pine forests and snow-capped mountains. The assailants were able to get past the region’s robust security measures, which included numerous checkpoints and armed patrols, and cause mayhem in what ought to have been a tranquil tourist destination.

Two Terrorists Gunned Down:

Meanwhile, the Indian Army launched a search operation. According to official reports, troops killed two terrorists in Uri. After the Pahalgam attack, Army soldiers intercepted and shot dead two Pakistani militants who were trying to infiltrate through the Uri sector in North Kashmir’s Baramulla. In the aftermath, they recovered IEDs, AK-47 rifles, and a pistol.
