Pastor Praveen Pagadala Death: Former MP Seeks Court’s Intervention

Pastor Praveen Pagadala Death : Pastor Praveen Pagadala was a Christian religious leader. He recently passed away. Police confirmed that his death was caused by a road accident. But Christian groups raised doubts about his death and demanded a full investigation. Former MP Harsha Kumar filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) asking for a re-postmortem.


Pastor Praveen Pagadala Death:
Police said there was no evidence of murder in Praveen’s death. According to their investigation, Praveen Kumar died because he was under the influence of alcohol and met with a road accident. Some groups still believe that it was not an accident but a planned attack. Petitions asking for a CBI investigation were filed in the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Harsha Kumar also filed a PIL for a re-postmortem by experts from the Indian Medical Association, NIMS or Gandhi Hospital. He pointed out that the original postmortem report was not released. He said that this delay raised serious doubts.

Pastor Praveen Pagadala Death: Harsha Kumar visited the accident site. He claimed that he found a gunny bag, alcohol bottles and signs of a fire near the spot. Also said that the body was quickly moved to Rajahmundry through an unofficial route.  Announced a large public meeting at the accident location on the 24th of next month. Letters demanding a deeper investigation will be sent to the central and state governments.

Police shared further details. They confirmed that Praveen Kumar purchased alcohol at Hyderabad, Kodad and Eluru during his journey. UPI payment records matched these claims. Police said that he fell out of his vehicle near Chillakallu, Keesara and Ramavarappadu Ring Road.

The postmortem showed serious head injuries and wounds on other body parts. The forensic report found ethyl alcohol in his stomach, small intestine, liver, kidneys and spleen. At the time of the accident, Praveen was traveling at 70 kilometers per hour. Police also said that no other vehicle collided with him at the accident spot. Praveen Kumar’s wife expressed her trust in the police investigation.


The case remains under close public watch as calls for deeper investigations grow louder.
