The application process for the second phase of Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme, i.e, PM Internship 2025 is going to end soon. If you have not applied yet, then apply immediately by visiting the official website pminternship.mca.gov.in. Do not let this golden opportunity slip out of your hands. A total of 1 lakh candidates will be selected in this phase. The last date for application has been fixed as 15 April 2025. Earlier the last date to apply for PM Internship Scheme 2025 was 31 and 12 March. Apart from this, the application is free for all students.
The notice released on the official website reads, “The application process for internship will now continue till April 15. Interested candidates register, create their profile and apply for opportunities in various fields. No registration or application fee will be charged.” 8,700 candidates started internship
The central government has increased the allocation for this scheme for the year 2025-26. The government has increased the allocation from the revised estimate of Rs 380 crore to Rs 10,831.07 crore. The government had provided more than 1,27,000 internship opportunities in the first phase of the scheme. While in the second phase this number was around 1,15,000. From December 2024 till now, out of more than 28,000 selected candidates, only 8,700 have started internship under the scheme.
Age Limit: Those youth between 21 to 24 years can apply, who are not engaged in any full-time employment or education.
Family Income: Candidates whose family’s annual income is more than Rs 8 lakh cannot apply.
Family of government employee: If any member of the family is employed in a permanent government job, then the youth of that family will not be eligible for this scheme.
Medium of education: Youth studying through online and distance education will be considered eligible for this internship.
Beneficiaries of other government schemes: Youth taking skill training under any other government scheme also cannot avail this internship.

Students of reputed institutions: Candidates graduating from reputed institutions like IIT, IIM, IISER, NID, IIIT, NLU cannot apply.
Higher education: Candidates having CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MBA and master’s degree or higher education will not be eligible for this internship.
The selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs 5000 per month, out of which Rs 4500 will be given by the Central Government and Rs 500 from the CSR fund of the concerned company. Also, an additional one-time amount of Rs 6000 will also be provided to all the selected candidates.

First of all visit the official website pminternship.mca.gov.in.
Click on the ‘Registration Link’ on the homepage.
Complete the registration process by entering your mobile number.
Fill the application form and upload the required documents.
Check the application form carefully and submit it.
Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
