Prime Minister Narendra Modi threatened Pakistan post Operation Sindoor. He predicted that its support for terrorism and military escapades would be the cause of its collapse. The Prime Minister made this statement in the aftermath of India’s strong reaction in the form of Operation Sindoor to the Pahalgam terror attack.
PM Modi stressed that Pakistan’s administration and military freely endorse terrorists, hence, it is a terror hub across the globe. He stressed that Pakistani leaders say farewell to martyred terrorists, which speaks volumes of the deep-seated engagement of the nation in terror activism.
PM Modi said, ”The Pakistani army and government, which are nurturing terrorism, will one day bring an end to Pakistan itself. If Pakistan wants to survive, it must eliminate terrorism. There is no other path to peace”
He further explained, ‘The terrorism that they are nurturing will put an end to the Pakistan nation itself. Which is an evident statement after the violation of ceasefire’.
India’s Military Response
Following the Pahalgam attack, India carried out Operation Sindoor against terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Over 100 terrorists were neutralized, categorically establishing the fact that India would never acquiesce to terrorism.
Pakistan’s Failure to Retaliate
Despite India’s retaliatory ferocity, Pakistan attempted to retaliate by launching drone and missile attacks, which did not reach their intended targets. In a surprise retaliation, India demolished a huge quantity of Pakistani airfields, weakening the military might of Pakistan even further.
“Operation Sindoor has set a new standard in the fight against terrorism. It has established a new normal. First, whenever there is a terrorist attack on India, a strong response will be given. We will respond in our own way and take action at every place where the roots of terrorism are found. Second, India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail,” he said.
